Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
Something that I think we all need to ask ourselves and consider as we go through our Christian lives, and run our partial or wholly Christian blogs, comes from the book of Galatians. Paul writes in chapter 1 verse 10: “Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.”
As you blog and lead a good Christian life, don’t do so for self ambition. Don’t be a good person just so that others will look at you and praise you. Instead, let your motives be that of love for others, love for Christ, and a sincere desire to draw closer to God and to praise his name!
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” - Colossians 3:17
